Carrie has over nineteen years of experience in market research, both on the supply and practitioner sides of the field.  A self-proclaimed “research geek,” Carrie focuses on the application of research to solve business problems and guide marketing and brand strategy.  She has an endless fascination with human decision making and is innately curious.  While her original aspirations were to secure a job in the international marketing field (and to use her degree in Japanese) she found her first job out of college at an international market research firm and a new love was born!   She is seasoned at asking the right questions and knows when to apply a wide range of techniques from quantitative segmentation to ethnography to neuroscience – always with the end goal of uncovering insight that leads to real business results.  Carrie has spoken at The Harvard Joint Center, NARI, and shares research with some of the largest builders in the US, along with fellow researchers at venues like The Market Research Event and the Insights Association where she currently serves as an advisor. In her current role at Kohler Co., Carrie counsels on the state of the consumer.

Gary Mayo began his career with Toll Brothers, Inc. in 1997 when he ambitiously embarked upon a major expansion in Reno, Nevada and successfully spearheaded significant growth for the company in the greater Las Vegas area and Reno. Under his direction, Toll Brothers has purchased more than 8,500 Nevada home sites since the Coleman/Toll acquisition.  Gary also led the efforts to acquire Coleman Homes in Idaho, Boise’s second largest builder, and their 1,400 home sites in Boise in November 2016.

Gary is currently serving as Group President for the Las Vegas, Reno, and Boise Divisions. He is responsible for the management of operations and personnel in all three divisions, with over 30 years of experience in the construction industry.  Gary also lent his management expertise to Northern California, overseeing operations in the Sacramento metropolitan area for a number of years.  His responsibilities include Land Acquisition, Land Planning, Project Management, Construction Management, Marketing, and Sales.
